BST

The brief

BST Academy are a specialised MMA training facility in Sol Central, Northampton. They coach in most major fighting disciplines and also boast a state-of-the-art gym and relaxing cafe. The facility had undergone some pretty extensive updates and with membership enquiries going through the roof, a website was required to portray their growing professional and cosmopolitan image.

This gave Spinbox a chance to do something different; something creative. the brief was to showcase the range of fighting disciplines and offer users a simple way to review class times and enquire about memberships.

The solution

Spinbox went full throttle and set about creating a full brand for all of the BST components, BST Academy, BST MMA, BST GYM, BST Brickyard and BST Fight Team. Blood Skull was also created to represent BST on clothing and apparel.

Our Illustrator was in his element using state of the art, vector based software to draw freehand the various parts of the brand while the developers worked on bringing the website to life.

The results

The BST website has been received incredibly well by users immediately calling in to make enquiries about Martial Arts classes. The classes page is a triumph and looks fantastic, flowing well and allowing potential martial artists to find their discipline of choice. Sitefinity makes the work very easy for editors with modules having been created in the CMS to allow for easy content creation and authoring.

Blood Skull has firmly secured its place as the face of BST with their climbing popularity in the World of fitness and MMA.
