Spinbox were set the challenge to architect, design and develop and fully integrated web application allowing for the BPHA team to manage Help To Buy Properties and Applications.
As well as the custom web app, the solution needed to be delivered with an enterprise CMS capabilities and stakeholder management interfaces to cover the largest HTB region in the UK.BPHA wanted a site which not only provides detailed information to customers searching for information on all aspects of Help to Buy but also allows them to search for properties and apply online to reduce the administration of paper applications.

With pre-existing process knowledge, Spinbox analysts worked with the BPHA team to define the core requirements of the application system and portal.
With rapid functional development over a series of sprints, the custom application system came online in phase 1. With an agile phased release the full system allowed for the following functionality:

The application has been developed and integrated with Sitefinity CMS, providing a full .NET application with online marketing built in.With ground break automated approval logic builder, BPHA can adjust the rules to mark automatically approve or fail an application.

Covering the largest UK region, all SLA on application marking and applicant communications are met through the automation.
The solution allowed for transformation of a paper-based process to be 100% digital. The ROI allows a previously 15 admin person process to be reduced to 3 person task.The application is a critical part to the constant altering Help to Buy government scheme, which allows for rapid changes and scalability to adapt to the influx of applications and users and changing content and eligibility of the scheme.
