King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) engaged Spinbox to develop websites for two key departments: the International Programs Office (IPO) and Admissions and Student Recruitment (ASR).
While the IPO project didn't progress to launch following an internal restructure, it laid the foundation for the ASR build - a more ambitious project that merged the existing Admissions and Visiting Students Research Programmes (VSRP) websites into one cohesive platform.
The goal: a single, comprehensive resource for prospective students, showcasing KAUST's facilities, lifestyle, and application process.

Drawing on over a decade of Sitefinity CMS expertise, Spinbox delivered a fully integrated solution tailored to KAUST's needs.
The platform was built with content personalisation, automated workflows, and multi-site management at its core - with seamless CRM integration, responsive design, multilingual support, and mobile compatibility ensuring a consistent experience for a diverse, global audience.
Design followed KAUST's brand identity with full WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance, while custom Sitefinity widgets, robust search, and strong Core Web Vitals performance kept the platform fast and findable. Legacy content was carefully migrated and enriched with new sections on student stories, alumni journeys, and research facilities - bringing the KAUST experience to life.
