Bespoke learning games, 'Escape Room' style game that would be used by Ahold Delhaize to train their staff on cyber security.
Cyber Security Training Brief
Ahold Delhaize wanted to create a brand new experience for their staff that would combine learning with team building. The experience would see users land in the world of Zoe and Bert whose mission is to crack down on cyber threats to save the business and it's reputation.
The game would need to be gated so that only Ahold Delhaize staff and their Brand Associates could access it. Multiple players would need to play at any one time, with one person acting as the 'team leader'.
The vision consisted of a series of puzzles that players would need solve in order to move on to the next, with Clarity creating the concept, designs and assets for us to use during the build. The puzzles would be tackled sequentially with the overall experience timed for added pressure!

Training App through Games Solution
The application would be built as a .NET core app with Angular on top, using Lottie for animations. The login would be handled using Azure BTC with a separate DB off the back. We'd have custom data storage for the leader board and provide administrative access for Ahold Delhaize to analyse scores, in the form of a data table. Front end content would be hardcoded. The application would be used on Microsoft Edge & Chrome latest releases and optimised for desktop only.

- The main game room - Players search around this interactive room to find puzzles. They must locate them in the correct order, or they can't play them.
- CCTV puzzle - Players watch a series of CCTV videos and click the screen to identify hazards.
- Laptop puzzle - Players have to drag and drop letters to unscramble cyber security phrases, they then have to identify phishing attempts from a series of emails.
- Filing cabinet puzzle - Players drag and drop secure or sensitive documents into the correct filing cabinet drawer.
- Lockbox puzzle - Players must decide whether to trust, or not trust, a series of 3 SMS messages and 3 phone call recordings.
- Whiteboard puzzle - Players fill in the blanks from a series of cyber security statements
- The safe - Players must drag and drop a dial with the correct code to unlock a safe and free Bert!
- Leader board - After watching an animation, players can see where they measure up with a global leader board.
